We are back!

posted 3 Apr 2018, 06:07 by Mike Dixon

As many customers may have noticed, for the last few years we have not been easy to contact.  As a small family run business, sometimes challenges come along that draw our attention away from the business.  In April 2015 Alex (Mike's wife) was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.  Alex had to face chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy, and various other treatments.  This meant that we focused on Alex's recovery, and ensuring our children had the support and attention they needed through this time.  Thankfully, Alex has now finished her active treatment, and is doing well.  Also, both kids have settled well into their schools.

Now that life currently seems more settled, we are able to focus back on looking after our customer's pianos.

We would all like to thank our customers for their support and patience over the last few years.

As part of our development of the business, we are the process of developing a PRIORITY CUSTOMER scheme for customers who wish to have their piano tuned every 6 months.  This will give you the opportunity to spread the cost of tuning across the year, and save money on our normal tuning cost.  Please contact us for further information.

Supporting Fairford Town FC

posted 18 Jul 2014, 04:16 by Mike Dixon   [ updated 29 Jul 2014, 14:00 ]

Following an expanding customer base in Fairford, to put something back into the community, we have taken an advertising board at Cinder Lane.

We will post pictures online soon.  Look out for our board at any home games for either Fairford Town, or Swindon Town Ladies FC.

See our offers and promotions page for pictures of our board with an offer for our customers in the GL7 postcode area.

Expanding our tuning area

posted 5 Jun 2014, 02:33 by Mike Dixon   [ updated 5 Jun 2014, 02:34 ]

During the last year we have expanded the area we cover for general tuning.  We decided to do this as we found ourselves building a good network of customers and contacts in the GL7 post code area.  Now, as well as continuing to tune across the SN post code area, we are offering piano tuning in Cirencester, Fairford and Lechlade.

Our decision actually stemmed from football!  During the last season we were proud to sponsor Swindon Town player Tijane Freitas Reis.  The publicity this brought seemed to raise our profile in a broader area than other advertising opportunities we have pursued.  We also then decided to Sponsor Fairford Town FC Goalkeeper Ben Mitchell, which brought us further contacts in the Fairford area.  We are already looking forward to next season when we will hopefully be continuing player sponsorship, as well as having a pitch side board at Cinder Lane (home of Fairford Town FC).

Hopefully this will help us build a good customer base in the GL7 postcode area, offering our high standard of service to more pianos.
