New College course

New College are offering a course in "an introduction to piano maintenance", which we are pleased to be teaching.
 
An ideal opportunity to learn how to care well for your piano, and how to make improvements to the mechanism. Also I believe that understanding how a piano actually works can improve your playing.
 
It is likely to be a 6 week course running on a monday or tuesday evening from 1830-2030

Digital piano available for hire

Following a large number of enquiries for this service, we are now able to offer a digital piano for hire for weddings and other events.  Ideal for venues without space for the acoustic grand piano, and a cost effective alternative to be able to provide live background music.  We will post more details and picture on the site in the near future.

As more customers are taking advatage of our piano hire scheme, and we have delivered more pianos to customers this month, we are currently busy preparing more pianos ready for hire.  We will post pictures on the pianos available page shortly.  Please see the piano hire page for details of Dixon's Piano Services piano scheme.
